A presentation by Allen Mackler on the many connections between Sherlock Holmes and music, as noted in the many stories. Earlier in his career Allen was the host of programs at Public Broadcasting Station WETA in Washington, DC focusing on the broadcast of rare recordings of classical music. This recording features some of those rare recordings from Allen's collection (which he later sold before moving to Minnesota in his retirement and becoming an active member of the local Sherlockian society, the Norwegian Explorers).
