Vincenza Pusateri was born in Termini Imerese, Italy in 1888. In 1910 she married Nicola Bondi, an Italian emigrant in the United States, and she moved with him to Indianapolis. She and her husband sold produce and had four children. Vincenza died of tuberculosis in 1921.
