The Harvard Professor of Economics, former ambassador to India, and authoer of "The Affluent Society," was in town at the invitation of the Control Data Corporation, and Galbraith was the special guest of the St. Paul Public Library, where he gave the talk to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the library.
