Catherine Seybold (born 1915) and Jane Seybold Putnam (born 1917) were Thomas Sadler Roberts's granddaughters (daughters of Catherine Roberts and Joseph Seybold).

When the Dalls mountain sheep habitat group was completed in 1917, one mounted specimen was rejected for display in the diorama. Museum director Thomas Sadler Roberts sold the specimen to the State Historical Society of North Dakota in 1924.
