Round, dark reddish brown clay vessel with remnants of black glaze; flared, conical lip leading to a large, round opening; flat, C-shaped handle that extends from the top edge of lip rim to the middle of the feeder body; small, conical spout protrudes from the opposite side; tip of spout missing.

Black and white photo of a burning Finnish American homestead, known locally as the Musakka family house. The home was built in 1912 in Idlington, Angora Township, Saint Louis County, Minnesota. The fire which destroyed the log structure (vacant for the preceding 25 years) occurred on February 9, 1980.
