Immediately after the Chisholm fire of 1908 merchants had small stores built and went into business at once. The wholesale houses extended credit so they would have some stock. Julius Lewis went into business with this nephew, Max Manson, left. The man in the light sweater is a customer. In the rear, debris from the fire can be seen.
