Callimachos edited the daily "Ethnikos Keryx" (National Herald, New York, NY) newspaper and the "National Renaissance" (a Greek American monthly). This photograph was probably taken at one of these offices.

The note on the back of this photograph states, "UCLA workshop in international relations. Here Al Momaday of the Hernez (?) Reservation in New Mexico, an Indian teacher in the local reservation school and a professional artist is explaining some of his representations of Indian folklore to two of our members, over from Japan."
