This photograph depicts the Latvian American Catholic parish of St. Paul, Minnesota. Approximately sixty immigrants who arrived in the early 1950's established the parish under the leadership of Rev. Vincents Strelevics. Masses were held in the basement chapel of the Cathedral of St. Paul, in St. Paul, Minnesota.
