At milepost 1200 there was a Galleria forest of tall White Spruces missing from the low black spruce forest away from the camera. Yellow is balsam poplar.

At milepost 1200 there was a Galleria forest of White Spruce, 60 feet tall, where soil was deeply thawed along streams in summer. The yellow trees are Balsam Poplars. Near milepost 400? Higher altitude. mainly conifers only on South facing slopes, probably fire effect. Camera at 2700 feet. At lower altitude there were Aspens and balsam poplars on South facing slopes, and North facing Conifers.
