The Kurnal-Cuddapah canal takes off from the Sunkesula anicut constructed across river Tungabhadra. The canal runs for a length of 306 KM. in what is now Kurnool and Cuddapah Districts of Andhra Pradesh to irrigate 100,000 hectares.
