Approximately twenty percent of this bowl is a replacement, most skillfully welded in. In fact by touch one can not perceive the replacement. The seven metals and their symbolism are: Gold (Sun), Silver (Moon), Mercury (Mercury), Copper (Venus), Iron (Mars), Tin (Jupiter), and, Lead (Saturn).
