East edge of Stump Lake. High shoreline 14 feet above today's late surface. Douglas firs with 27 sets of branch whorls drowned. Upper roots and recent high water mark 1.9 feet above today's level. Two generations of drowned trees. View north from beaver lodge. (60-16-25)

East shore of Stump Lake. View north. Elevation about 2750 feet. Old stump in distance at right center apparently in deep water. Overflow shoreline at south end 18.7 feet above today's lake surface.
