Exterior view of the Socialist Opera building in Virginia, Minnesota. The grand opening of this building was on April 5-6, 1913. Edith Koivisto writes, "at the time I was directing plays in the neighboring Gilbert and teaching Finnish in summer school. I could not afford to attend the opening. The tickets were $10.00-25.00."
