"C.L. Bowker Scaler." is written on the photograph above the person standing on top of the pile of logs. "Ed. Gates" and "C.O. Malley" are written underneath the person leaning up against the pile of logs and the person on the far right of the photograph respectively. "5000 Ft" and "Oak" are written on the sled carrying the logs.
